Founded by Kenneth B. Katz, an elected Fellow of the International Institute of Conservation, an elected Professional Associate of the American Institute for Conservation and past Secretary of the National Organization of Conservators in Private Practice.

His publications include — Articles about the conservation and restoration of the Michigan State Capitol, Detroit Athletic Club, German Expressionist painting, conservation adhesives, and a column for Antiques Trader from 1999-2001.

Kenneth B. Katz

Education

He received his B.A. in Art History with a concentration in the sciences from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1972. He received his M.A. degree and Certificate of Advanced Study in the Conservation of Historic and Artistic works from the State University College of New York, Cooperstown Graduate School in 1979. In 1983, he received a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship to study in Rome, Italy at the Istituto Centrale del Restauro.
